Video Blog: Episode 2 - Taking It To The Streets

9/7/2023

In this episode, I share about an initiative called "Talking It To The Streets"  by the Reimagining Dementia organization, and discuss reimagining an Alzheimer's diagnosis not as a tragedy but the beginning of a different kind of journey. I also encourage you to help me rename that dirty "D" word of "dementia".

I'd love it if you could like, subscribe, and share these videos so that these Alzheimer's resources can expand out to those who need it! Click here to head to the Dementia Man YouTube channel.

And to learn more about Reimagining Dementia, please watch this video of my friend and coordinator, Mary Fridley.

Thank you – and please Take it to the Streets!  Perhaps this song can be our anthem.

I am proud to introduce my new video blog—please click here to like and subscribe on YouTube to continue to follow along on my journey!

The month of September is about raising awareness and challenging stigmas surrounding Alzheimer's disease, with World Alzheimer's Day on Thursday, September 21st. It is my mission to tell the story of my diagnosis and to challenge others to imagine a meaningful future for the millions of people with neurocognitive disease, with accommodation and adaptation. As the saying goes, it's "never too early, never too late!"
